Here's what we were working with - four driveways at a Woodbury townhome complex that had run their course. Cracked, worn surfaces that weren't doing any favors for the look or safety of the property. The kind of thing residents notice every single day pulling in and out of their garage.

We started from scratch. The old material came out, the base got properly prepped, and then we poured fresh concrete across all four driveways plus new walkways connecting each unit. That prep work is where most jobs either win or lose. Skip it, and you're looking at cracking and settling way sooner than you should be.

The finishing is what separates a concrete job that holds up from one that doesn't. Smooth, even surface. Clean edges where the slab meets the garage apron. Consistent control joints scored in at the right intervals to manage cracking as the concrete cures and moves with the seasons. It's not glamorous work, but it matters.

When you're doing multiple driveways in a shared complex like this, keeping things consistent across all the units is a real priority. Every slab needs to match - same finish, same thickness, same quality. That's exactly what we delivered here. Four driveways, all done to the same standard, plus the walkways tying everything together cleanly.
